WEDDING AND SPECIAL EVENT PLANNING

Whether you are planning a wedding, private reception, birthday party, family reunion or honeymoon, Avalanche Ranch can host your special event for up to 75 people outside in a specified area of the grounds offering spectacular views.

All group lodging bookings (3 or more units that are coming to the property together) must be approved by management and may incur extra fees.

There are two components to planning a Wedding or private event at Avalanche Ranch:
Lodging Rental and Grounds Rental.

LODGING RENTAL:

We require that all Avalanche Ranch accommodations be rented for the minimum of 3 nights. The ranch can provide accommodations for approximately 60-75 people.  The cost for the entire property for 3 nights plus tax can be requested at the time of booking.

GROUNDS RENTAL:

Each Colorado wedding or event is unique, requiring individual attention. The overall cost for an event at Avalanche Ranch depends on the number of people, length of event, services needed and the date of the event. Although prices may vary, the rates below give you an idea of the costs involved based on the number of guests.

EVENT PACKAGE:

The rate for an event for up to 75 people is $3500 and includes two 20’x30′ party tents and one 10’x10′ tent, use of our picnic tables, banquet tables and chairs, and exclusive use of the Hot Springs for the entire day of the event.  A 15% service fee is added to the grounds rate for staff.

RENTALS/CATERING/MUSIC:

We can provide a list of recommended services for Colorado caterers, musicians, florists, liquor, cake and party rental companies to assist you in planning your special Rocky Mountain event. We request from you a list of names and phone numbers for all the services you have hired, 30 days prior to the event. It is important to notify us, preferably in writing of any changes to these arrangements. Please note: Giving respect to our guests and neighbors, we require that all amplified music end by 9:00pm.

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS:

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure a date, followed by a 50% deposit of the projected costs of the GROUNDS AND LODGING due within 30 days of the reservation. The balance is due 45 days prior to the event. We require that one individual be responsible for handling all lodging reservations/ billings.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT:

A $500 credit card damage deposit is required. The renter is responsible for guest damages and/or excessive use.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All deposits are non-refundable. If cancellation notice is 45 days or less, the entire amount will be forfeited.

We wish to make your Rocky Mountain wedding or group event perfect in every way. Wherever possible, we will tailor our services to fit your needs. In order to do this, it may be necessary to have some flexibility in our rates and policies. Although we have attempted to outline most of the necessary items for your event, every event is different and requires ongoing discussion and updates between the parties. We enjoy sharing Avalanche Ranch’s wonderful setting and look forward to hosting your special occasion.
