Policies, Seasons & Cancellations

Deposit / Final Payment: A 50% deposit is due when you make your reservation. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Separate policies apply to group reservations.

Check-in time: Cabins after 3:00 pm, Ranchhouse after 4:00 pm.

Please note: If you arrive after the office has closed, we will leave you a note on the office door for late arrival check-in. Or, if you think you will be arriving after 5PM, you can give us a call and we can give you directions on going directly to your cabin. If you need any assistance after the office has closed, there are directions on contacting us on the office door.

Check-out time: Cabins 11am, Ranchhouse 10am. For late check-out, please ask and we will try to accommodate you. A $25 per hour fee will be automatically charged for late check-out unless prior arrangements have been made. Full daily rate will be charged after 1:00 p.m.

Cancellation: A $25 per room service fee will be charged for all individual cancellations - $100 for the Ranchhouse. If more than 30 days notice of cancellation is given, full payment less the service fee will be refunded. If less than 30 days notice is given, payment will be refunded to the extent the room is re-rented, less the service fee. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved regardless of the day of departure. Separate policies apply to group reservations.

Waivers/Liability: We require that each cabin guest and each day visitor guest sign a waiver in order to utilize Avalanche Ranch facilities.

Telephones / Televisions/Wireless: We do not have telephones or TVs in guest rooms or cabins. There is no cellphone coverage on the property. There is a telephone and TV/DVD for guest use in the "Lodge". We do have a portable TV/DVD player available for rent by cabin guests. Wireless internet is available in the "Lodge and in some units. These amenities are available in the "Lodge" for no additional cost.

Pets

We love animals and are happy that your pet is able to accompany you to Avalanche Ranch. We do have rules that guests and pets must abide by in order to insure a quality experience for all. Click here for the Pets page and our rules, rates and policies.
